About

About Global Rest

You may not be able to pick your time or place of death but now you can pick where you rest

Our purpose

Why this service exists

Traditional funerals can place a heavy financial burden on families at an already difficult time. Global Rest exists to offer a more affordable cremation-focused option — often at a significant saving compared with conventional funeral costs — without losing dignity or care.

We believe those savings should remain with the people left behind: to put toward something the family has been putting off, or to share with the beneficiaries of the deceased. Honouring a life should not have to mean exhausting the resources meant to support the living.

Alongside affordability, we help families choose where a loved one may rest — through ash-scattering and memorial arrangements subject to local laws, approvals, and location restrictions. You may not be able to pick your time or place of death, but now you can pick where you rest.

We coordinate with qualified cremation providers and assist with researching applicable requirements. We do not operate a crematory or a traditional funeral home. Final timelines and costs are confirmed after consultation.

Values

What guides our work

Compassion

We meet families where they are — with patience, clarity, and respect for the weight of each decision.

Affordability with dignity

We focus on a cremation path that can cost significantly less than many traditional funerals, without treating farewell as a bargain sale.

Choice of rest

You may not choose the time or place of death — but we help families explore where a loved one may rest, subject to local laws and approvals.

Care for those left behind

Savings can go toward something the family has been putting off, or be shared with beneficiaries — honouring both memory and the living.

Transparency

Itemized proposals after consultation. No invented prices, no fabricated guarantees about permits or timelines.

Privacy and dignity

Family wishes, privacy preferences, and cultural sensitivity guide every coordination step.

Our approach

Coordination, not ownership

We coordinate with qualified cremation providers rather than operating a crematory or traditional funeral home ourselves.

We assist with researching permit and destination requirements without promising approvals we cannot control.

And we present itemized proposals after consultation — so families can see costs clearly before any payment is requested, and understand how a cremation-focused path may free resources for the living.
